The Peerless 830878 is part of the Superior Dynamic Sounds (SDS) Series providing the smallest but highest-quality subwoofers in the industry today.  Leveraging the best in Danish craftsmanship, but manufactured to be very affordable, these audio transducers are ideal for use in small surround sound systems, but can also be used in a wide variety of end user products and applications. The speakers in this line are combinable with subwoofers in the SLS line.

The Peerless 831481 is an identical speaker to the 10" XLS drivers but without a magnet and the voice coil has been replaced with a weight. You can fine tune this mass by adding weight to the M5 threaded hole enabling excellent control over the final design. Passive radiators replace the port by adding a mass equivalent to the volume of air in a 10" tube. This eliminates air velocity noises and enables very low tuning F without ridiculously long or narrow port dimensions. Suits small enclosures and home theater/audio.

Driver Highlights: Thick Nomex cone, 400 g moving mass.

The Peerless 830548 is identical to the XLS/XXLS drivers, but without a magnet or voice coil. Available in two mass weightings, further weight can be added enabling excellent control over the final design. Eliminate air velocity noises and achieve a low tuning F without ridiculously long port dimensions. Best matched with 12" XLS driver for a box volume of 40 to 50L (17Hz)
