The Loudspeaker Kit TL6 floorstanding transmission line DIY kit is our flagship and most innovative kit. Standing around 1.2M tall, this kit utilises a pair of Vifa Woofers and a silk domed tweeter in the well known D'Appolito configuration (MTM) but with an internal tapered transmission line alignment venting through the open rear of the box. Bass performance is a mix of vented (4th order) bass extension but with sealed (2nd order) rolloff and transient response.
This kit plays very clean and low bass extremely accurately and with a tightness that is just not possible with any other speaker alignment. The bass is typically "English" in sound - no boom box design this one. If your musical tastes run to the widest range of classical, jazz, guitar, vocal and instrumental artists then this is your speaker.

Matched to a Vifa silk dome tweeter for smooth treble and using a computer optimized 4th order Linkwitz-Riley crossover this kit always attracts tremendous interest.
All new production versions of the TL6 feature fully recessed tweeter and woofers and the black pad visible in these photo's is no longer supplied. As with all Deluxe series kits, the TL6 features heavy duty gold plated speaker binding posts.
